A hieve the Honorable 1 service to school, fellow-students Student participation in school government has a long and honorable history at Hollywood. Over the years, the Student Body has consistently chosen out- standing leaders for its presidents and legislators. In both the Fall and Spring elections, the voters made their usual wise choices, for both Allan Cutrow, W'64 President, and Dann Boyd, S'64 President- together with the Student Councils over which they presided-proved themselves entirely worthy of the Hollywood tradition. Among the many duties of Student Body Presi- dents and Councils is the allocation each year of nearly 320,000 in Student Body funds to such activ- ities as the interscholastic athletic program, the H.H.S. News the Poinsettia, student welfare, Boys' and Girls' Leagues, and a dozen others. Income is derived from the operation of the Student Store, the annual apple sale, and the sale of Student Activity Cards each semester. irate- g5gttf,1 tinr 1 ' 427591 ' ' ' . y 5 5 5 T 4,,.f' V l' K, u Dann Boyd uas elected Student Body President in january 1964 and Student Body ofirers for the Spring Semester, 1964, were took ojice at the beginning of the Spring Semester His leadership Treasurer Gordon Keller, Girls' Vice-President Penny Eck- enabled Student Council to initiate many improvements and several ert, Boys' Vife-President Alan Levine and Secretary April new projects Anson. 1 9
