This year's Holly track team will be aiming for another season as successful as that turned in by last year's hard running tracksters. The Holly thinclads had their biggest year in recent history last year, winning the Wayne-Oakland League track championship and the regional Class title. One member of the team, Jim Madar, took first place laurels. in the half mile at the state track meet. Although six members of last year's squad graduated, this should be another big year for Holly trackmen. Seniors Ed Mayers, Jim Blumenschein, Jim Minock, Stan Young, Bob Kelly, Jerry Samuel, Don Dumas, Bill Kramer, and Ray Brendel, head the strong outfit. Track coach Aubuchon has 'several good sophomore prospects eligible for competition for the first time. The Broncho track men will point toward the defense of their Wayne-Oakland league title in May at Ypsilanti and the Regional Meet usually held at Flint. Lots of success, MARY AND WILT. SHUTTLEWORTH
