Our goal this year has been to present a story of the school year AD i952-i953 in pictures. Between these covers are the activities and sports you participated in, your picture, and maybe even your favorite snap- shot. The nucleus of the staff was elected last spring by our class. The staff was completed this fall and with the very able assistance of Mrs. Peterson a company was chosen and work begun: From that time until the final page was sent in at the end of March, the staff held weekly meetings. Senior Play Button Button' was premiered in Holly by the seniors on November 20. In Maurice Clark s three act comedy, Button Woodhouse's family consider him slightly unbalanced, but the audience knows better. He limits his ambition to easy chairs, good food and homely philosophy, but there are conflicting forces around him. He runs from an antique collector only to bump into a girl with some new variety of poetry, and evades his brother with a bag of golf clubs only to fall into the hands of an amateur psychologist. But worse than any of these obstacles to his peace of mind is a pretty housemaid with a practical mind and genuine love tor the delightful Button. Their elopement from his 'stuffed shirt environment into her world of self-respecting workers is a scene of delightful romance.
