I Y fm, ' ' The past 1972 Cross Country season had a very respectable rec- ord of 7-3-1. However, despite a good showing all year, the har- riers suffered a mental letdown. The loss to Woodsville, a Class M team, in the State Meet, broke a string of Class M victories dating back to 1969. This year's state meet team had had only one senior, Tom Chap- man, who ran well all season. The rest of the State Meet team will be returning. They are: Ken Gurski, Kid Denehy, Gregg Ginet, Mike Goulder, Brian Spence and Mark Russell. Others runners on the team were: Tim Ballard, Ted Russell, Andy Pennucci, Mark LaVerne, Charles Spinney, Bret Fusco, Steve Lapierre, John Chislett and Dave Avery. The managers were Bob Stiles and Mark Thompson.
