yhjoarof of Ctjofzcafzbzz The school year of 1966-67 marked the first year of the new Hollidaysburg Area School District. As of July 1, 1966, the seven districts which had formerly comprised the Hollidaysburg Community Joint School system became non-existent. With the merger of the districts into one compact organization, the Board of Education was also condensed into a smaller, more efficient body. The new Board, which is the administrative branch of our school system, is responsible for the education of every child of school age in this area. Through the guidance and work of the Board of Edu- cation, the Hollidaysburg Area School system has become a new and vital part of our lives.
