Since he taught us in junior high and then followed us onward to the senior high, we received the distinction of having him guide us for four years instead of three. While serving as our adviser, Mr. Hoover has conducted us through our class duties with competent leadership and has done much to make our school lives more enjoyable and more worth- while. Mr. Hoover has always tried to inspire us toward a goal of high achievement through his teaching of World History and Problems of Democracy. He has been present at and has assisted with many extracurricular activ- ities. For these and many other reasons, he has exemplified our ideal not only as a school citizen but also as a friend. As our adviser, teacher and friend, we know of no finer man than Mr. Donald Hoover, so it- is with a deep sense of pride that we dedicate our CHIMROCK to him.
