administration This year is the first year of operation for the Hollidays- burg Community Ioint School District, which includes three boroughs and four townships. One of the changes brought about by this jointure is the creation ofa mammoth Board of Education. This new board is composed ofthe entire Hollidaysburg Board of Education as well as the entire boards of the other districts included in the jointure. The thirty-nine members of the Board represent the boroughs of Duncansville, Hollidaysburg, and Newry, and Allegheny, Blair, Frankstown, and Iuniata Townships. These Board members are responsible for the management and improvement of both the Hollidaysburg Iunior and Senior High Schools. Although this is the first year for the functioning of the large board, much fine work has already been accomplished. Plans 'are underway for a new Iunior High School, and an addition to the Senior High School will include a much-needed auditorium.
