Although Holley had a record of only four wins and four losses they went to the secrionals because the only other team in com- petition with Holley for a sectional berth is Alexander. Also for the second straight year Holley and Alexander split their regular season's games, Alexander winning the first, 4-O and Holley winning the second by a score of 6 to O. This split made ir necessary to have a playoff game at Alexander which Holley won 4 to 2, giving them the right to play in the sectionals. Among some of the srandouts on the team were many seniors playing their last season of soccer in high school. These were: Lee Bartlett, Norman Hefke, Fred Miller, Nicholas Quaranta, Joe Salvatore, Orren Van Orden, and Richard Spychalski. Joe Sal- vatore was high scorer for the team.
