SENIOR GIRL SCOUTS The leaders of the troop, Patricia I-larter and Marian Nlunger, directed the girls in making blocks for a Red Cross afghan, in rolling bandages, and also in the social activities, a Christmas party and a dance held in March.

VARSITY BASKETBALL Holley High School's 1943-1944 basketball team, with Mr. Hicks as coach, ended its season with a record of seven Wins and nine losses, and placed third in the league. Neil Hawley was the third highest scorer in the league with 81 points and was selected for the All-Star Team. Richard Martin, captain, now inducted in the Armed Forces, finished fifth in the scoring with 63 points and captained the Second Team of All-Stars. Ioseph Coccitti received honorable mention. K.
