This year, as we started school, we were now upper classmen. We lost Donald Stoeklen, and John Anderson and gained Rodger Jacobson. A class meeting was held soon after school started. This was an interesting meeting, as it would decide who was to be our Prom King or Queen. Ralph Kleppe was elected President, so he automatically became king. Lynn Lunda was elected Vice- President, LeatriceRetrum, Secretary. MarylnKlosterman, June Retrum, and Hugh Hoskings were elected to Student Council. Thirteen Freshmen entered Hollandale High School in Sept- ember, 1951. Later we gained two more students, Marilyn Disch and Gloria Severson. On September 21, we were initiated by the Seniors. We had a party that evening with us as the preformers. Everyone enjoyed it very much. . Our class officers were: Zoa Gilbertson, Presidentg Doris Ley, Vice-President, Mardell Volden, Secretary-Treasurer. We elected Jerry Wen er as our Student Council Representative. Our class advisor was ilk. Zuehlke. This year we all returned as Sophomores. Our class officers are: Homer Walker, President, Gene Palzkill, Vice-President, Jimmy Hendrickson, Secretary-Treasurer.
