Jack Holcomb, Thomas Lord, Paul Hegland, Jack Harrington, James Lord, Richard Mc Kenzie, Miss Schuh, Advisor On September 12, l9N9 seventeen Freshmen entered Hollandale High School to begin their high school careers They were Mary Thoni, Virginia Burns, Joan Vosberg, Jack Harrington, Carol Boe, Ralph Jackson, Thomas Lord, James Lord, Richard McKenzie, Paul Hegland, Donald Frank, Patricia Palskill, Nancy Fitzsimmons, Jack Holcomb, Virginia Whitford, Patricia Fitzsimons, and Marilyn Massey A class meeting was held at which Virginia Burns was elected President, Marilyn Massey, Vice President, and Nancy Fitzsimmons, Secretary Treasurer Our class advisor was Miss Schuh On September 23rd the Freshmen were officially welcomed to the High School by the very accommodating Senior class at an initia tion party Although the Freshmen suffered many humiliations, they gladly braved the hardships in order to gain official recognition by the upper classmen Patty Palskill and Joan Vosberg were chosen by their classmates to represent them on the Student Council and Mary Thoni was chosen as the Freshmen representative on the Student Court I5 '5 I . . , 5 1 L , QESZVQUIQITIEU1

CFront Howl Virginia Campbell, Geraldine McGinnity, Lois Kleppe, Idain McCarville, Gloria Retrum, Helen Palskill, Helen Anderson CSecond Howl Mr Nodolf, Advisor, Maynard Swenson, Ruth Colden Ronald Doran, Bruce Bollerud, Moya Marsha J, Donna Azzaliro to .gala omored On September 7, 1998, ten green Freshmen, to be known as the Class of '52, started their high school careers They were Bruce Bollerud, Helen Anderson, Moya Marshall, Maynard Swenson Virginia Campbell, Ruth Colden, Gloria Retrum, Ronald Doran, Lois Kleppe, and Donna Azzalino A class meeting was held and Gloria Retrum was nominated President, Virginia Campbell, Vice President, Moya Marshall, Secretary Treasurer Our class advisor was Miss Hayes when the class walked into their new school environment in Sept- ember 1939, three new members had joined the class. They were: Helen Palskill, Idain McCarville, and Geraldine McGinnity. Officers chosen were: President, Bruce Bollerudg Vice President, Maynard Swenson, Sec retary-Treasurer, Helen Palskill. Ronald Doran and Idain McCarville were elected to serve on the Student Council and Moya Marshall was chosen as a Judge on the Student Court.
