This year's team had an explosive offense led by Dick Roberts and several times threatened to hit lOO points. They scored a school record of 96 points against Camden and averaged 67 points a game. Qur scoring was well balanced with D. Roberts l362i, S. Strobel l23ll, S, Meeker l243i, VV. Roberts C209l and Stan Bunal Cl23i. Coach Strobel's Knights boasted one of the tallest teams in the area, the starting ive averages 6' 2 l Some of the season's highlights were our revenge of V.V.S., clinching the flag vs. Camden, and beating Whitesboro in the final 2 seconds. ln the Section lll Tournament, Holland Patent defeated Little Falls and Herkimer and then met defending champions llion for the Utica-Oneida Class A title at U.F.A. before an enthusiastic H.P. crowd. The Knights played a tremendous game against the Bombers, tying them at 60 all before bowing in overtime. This climaxed a long and successful season which we will always remember. 81 ROW 'I R.
