There are approximately 170 stu- dents in the Holland High School bands. They are either in Symphonic or Concert Band, Symphonic Band being the highest. Students wishing to be in Symphonic Band must audi- tion. Both bands combine in making the Marching Band. They march at all the home football games, Tulip Time, and various other parades. The bands present three concerts each year and also participate in the competition at festival. A. Faithful band members perform no matter what the weather. B.
