The activities included tugs of war, a three-legged race, egg- throwing contest, spirit chain, baby picture contest, class skits, decorated commons, and a yelling contest. The Senior class theme was Memories, the junior's theme was Wild Wild Vlfestj' and the Sophomore's theme was Space 2079 The Senior class members were the victors of the week's activities with the junior and Sophomore classes following, respec- tively. Student Council donated to the American Cancer Society, 3231.00 which was made from selling links for the Spirit chain.

Student Council ttempts to t Solve Student pathy Problem Student Council officers are: Steve Ringel- berg, Mayor: Kim Houma, Scc1'etary: Barb lfeininger. Treasurer. X: SMASN v 3 Student Council sponsored three week- long celebrations, There was the traditional Homecoming held in October and Pep Week took place in February. A Christmas Week celebration and dance marathon were new projects. Council also put out a student direc- tory and sponsored several dances. At this time, they are hoping to rent movies to pres- ent to interested students.
