Acquire Practical Experience While Working The cooperative training program offered at Holland High in coniunction with the State Board of Control for Vocational Education, gave each Senior an excellent op- portunity for practice, on the iob training. A student en- rolled in this program spent one half of the day on the job while the other half was spent in school. With the cooperation of the various business establishments in the Holland area, the student helped to develop skills, atti- tudes, and work habits which help to insure success in the world of work. Junior and Senior girls had an excellent opportunity to learn while they worked as student librarians. Their in- structor, of course, was our librarian, Mrs. Donivan who taught them the fundamentals of running a library. e Mr. Runk Mr. Schipper M A . , . V . .
