RESERVE BASKETBALL The Little Dutch defeated every team they played this year with the exceptions of Muskegon and Niles while compiling a line 9-6 record. They began the season with an overwhelming victory over Grand Rapids Gttawa Hills by the score of 51-25. In the second game they overcame the Little Maroonsu from Kalamazoo by a narrow margin of two points, 45g43. The third game brought their first defeat, peculiarly by a reverse score of their previous game with Kalamazoo, by the reserve quintet from Muskegon Heights, 45 - -15. Although they lost L1 few very close contests at the end of the year, the remainder of the season was favorable to the Dutch Seconds as the final tabulation shows on their record. The Captain of the 1956-1957 Reserve Team and also voted the most valuable player by his teammates was regular center Ron Dorgelo. Voted the mosthimproved player was forward Dave Wehrmeyer. The members of this year's Reserve Team, along with the returning varsity letterwinners, should provide some good material for Coach Connell's first varsity cage squad next year.
