CLASS WII.L The lgraduating class of '48 leaves to the Holland High School halls the echoes of a group, who once carefree and boisterous, are now looking ahead with many different dreams, plans, and ambitions for the future-al group who will look back on those carefree years at Holland High as the best years of their lives. Bob Steketee leaves his belt to any three boys who think they can fill it. Earle Lubbers leaves his Love Me booklet to jim Slagh for further development. l Kay McKenny leaves to Mary jane McKay her annual passionate kiss for jock. K Eddie Boer leaves a bottle of cheap freckle remover to Stub Beckman. Molly Buttles leaves her lipstick on the back of jack Vander Velde's shirt. Elsie Kaji leaves with her left hand held high and her third finger glistening. Paul Douma and Betty Marcus leave for the preacher. Zeke Piersma dribbles out of our fair institution anxiously awaiting the Allegan Fair. Betty Nash leaves mumbling Ed's mad at me again. Margie QFrenchyj French leaves her nicknames to any up and coming junior who meets the requirements. Marilyn Barkel leaves those eyes to Delene Barr. Lou Baskett leaves her dancing ability to Lois Elferdink. Shirley Koning leaves arm in arm with old faithful Bunko japinga. Bob Albers and Dick Ruch blow out of our fair institution leaving the first two chairs open for anyone talented enough to sit in them. Lou Schutmaat dramatically exits down our stony steps starting her triumphant march to Hollywood and fame. Paul Kromann leaves his patented method of bending steel to anyone with a hard enough head. Richmond T. Kingman leaves a nickle's worth of Ye Olde Boot bubble gum, slightly used, to be given to anyone windy enough to inflate the stuff in true Kingman style. ' Mary Milewski sails on and leaves her classroom conversations to anyone who can talk fast enough about nothing. Verna Van Zyl poetically sets forth to encounter new inspirations for her unusual talents. The senior class leaves Mr. Mackay with gray hairs and a sagging bull-whip. Ted Stickels leaves his magnetic personality to the next swell guy. Yvonne De Loof leaves her natural beauty to Barb Westrate. Dot Ten Brink leaves her musical talents to Judy Kronemeyer. .
