THE SCHOOL BOARD About the only time most of us noticed the school board was when some controversial issue arose, or else when we happened to read the monthly announcement of their meet- ings in our church bulletins. However, even though the school board does go about its business largely unnoticed, it is still a very important organ of our school.. Representing our parents, these men carry much responsibility and the decisions they make will undoubtedly affect all of us. For these decisions they are answerable to the school society and to God. It is a tremendous work these men are doing and each is worthy of our humble thanks. 10
