Pug 0 Ten Snhnul Board To the Graduates of 1954: You have reached a very important milestone in your lives. We, as members of the Board of Trustees, extend our heartiest congratulations to you on this happy occasion. For several years you have formed an integral part of our school system. Through much sacrifice on the part of your parents and by devoted efforts of your instructors, you have been privileged to receive an education based upon Gods Word. This is a wonder- ful blessing, but presents great responsibilities. Remember, to whom the Lord gives much, He will require much in return, and the least He will accept is a life completely surrendered to His service. This will not always be easy, and experience will early teach you that this cannot be done in your own strength. The Psalmist experienced his weak- nesses and shortcomings and gives expression to this in his prayer as recorded in Psalm 119, verses 33 and 54: Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law, yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. We rejoice greatly with you in your achievement, and it is not without mixed feelings that we bid you farewell. No doubt some will take up work of their choice, while others will strive for further education in schools of higher learning. Regardless of what your future plans may be, your walk in life will be observed by your fellowmeng yea, by God himself. We pray that God will give you grace and courage to be true sol- diers of the Cross of Christ and that your lives will be worthy of bearing the name. The Board of Trustees, CORNELIUS J. WESTENBROEK, Prerident
