,f Dear Graduates: Four years ago most of you and I together began a new experience-four years of joy and sometimes of sorrow and disappointment at Holland Christian High School. I have been permitted to witness many evidences of your spiritual, mental, and physi- cal progress since 19-16. One glance at your pictures as freshmen in the 1947 Foot- prints alone reveals many changes. Of course, the Lord willing, time will reveal even greater changes. Some of you will continue your schooling while others will begin your life's work. Remember that as Christians we are always representing Christ. We can not all be in the full-time service of our King but we should always show our love for Him. Remem- ber to continue ' '.... in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. Now it is time to say goodbye. As we part one from the other, let us keep in our minds and hearts the promise of the Lord in Psalm 1213 namely, He that keeepth thee will not slumber. This Psalm has been a favorite of God's children from old. They would read it at the beginning of a journey, or on any day which marked some important event. For all of us it holds the warm assurance that all our going out and coming in is under the watchful eye of our Heavenly Father. Jehovah bless thee out of Ziong Even He that made heaven and earth. Sincerely yours, Bert P. Bos, Superintendent. l15l
