A HOLLAND CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION. The pet peeve of the students has been that the students have had nothing to say about their school. The constitution was drawn up last year under the direction of Mr. H. Kuiper. The senators and officers were elected and began to serve as Council members at the beginning of this school year. The Council staged a contest to find a suitable name for our school athletic teams. They are organizing the noon hours to provide fun and supervision for the lunch students. The Student Council has arranged for student chapel once a week. At our home games the Council provided for the presenting of arms and colors between the Reserve and Varsity games. The Holland Christian High School Student Council has been admitted as a member of the National Union of Student Councils. Once a week all members meet to discuss suggestions brought to them by the students. The object of the Council is to promote student interest in school activities and to give them a school gov- ernment of which they can be proud. t14l
