UUDINHQD LESS . l l i Laverne Vanderploeg, CVice-Presb, Martha Blystra, CSec.l, loyce Schroetenboer, CTreas,J, Herbert Otten, CPres.J. lf ability and Willingness to Work are indicative ot success, the Iunior class is really headed tor the stars, for they really possess these qualities. Their ability is shown by their large representation in extra-curricular activities. Twenty-tour are choir members, and eighteen belong to the band. Athletically, the class is also Well represented. Four members are on the varsity basketball team, and two are reserves. To prove that the luniors are an industrious group, mention must be made ot their unique Way ot earning money to pay tor the Iunior-Senior banquet. lnstead ot giving a play, they have earned their money the hard Way, by selling Christmas tree ornaments and personalized stationery, by managing the school supplies booth, and by distributing milk to the students during lunch hour. Highlights ot the year were the Thanksgiving assembly, and a hard times party. Last but by no means least, the Iunior sponsors must be thanked tor all they have contributed toward making the lunior class one ot which our school can be proud. uniors- - -- - - - 26
