APPR The richness and completeness of our stay at Holland Christian High School has not been determined by any one person, but rather by many persons Working together. The Eunice and Monica Aids have contributed most unselfishly of their time and money for our benefit. They have ever had our best interests in mind. Therefore to them We extend our truest gratitude. To Mr. William Pott, our financial agent, is also due a Word of thanks. l-lis task is to collect tuition and assist in other financial matters. Another person Who Will not soon be forgotten by any of us is our office girl, Miss Lucille Bouman. She has been ever Willing to help us in many different Ways. Therefore, We Wish to express our deep appreciation to her. And finally, our janitors, Mr. Westerhof and Mr. Dykstra, must also be included in our expression of gratitude. Theirs is the not-so-glorious task of keeping our building clean and neat. For all these many, thoughtful services, and for others too numerous to mention, we express to these people our heartiest, most sincere, thank you! 8

14 fueddage faam ffm game! Graduation, diplomas, graduation exercises! What does it all mean? The Board of Trustees of our Holland Christian Schools would like to leave this message particularly for the seniors. Cn commencement day you will receive your diplomas. What will that bit of paper or parchment mean for each of you? lt is often regarded by many as evidence that those who possess them are now educated. But in no sense can a Christian high school diploma mean that your education is now complete, Education is a life process. At most your diploma means that your education has begun. To loe educated is to attain unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ . lt means to strive to the end that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto every good work . The more nearly we approach that ideal, the more nearly are We truly educated. lt may be that you have gone through our Christian high school and received in the true sense no real education. During your high school years our school has held before you the deeper meaning of education and has tried to share it With you. We hope that each of you will continue that process of life called education. The School Board IU
