Cfadd .irlidfor Once upon a time, long ago, 11942 to be exactl, a group of wide- eyed and bewildered adolescents were protestingly dragged, led and beaten into entering the first grade. After six years of abuse and maltreatment, we entered the 7th grade with a new advisor, Miss McKibben. Upon her departure Tri our Freshman year, Mr. Krauss took over her enviable QU position. 1952 came with a bang. At long last we were Freshies, busier' all get-out and fingernail-less decided to have a May Dance, electing A King and Queen and four attendants. As Sophomores, we began to take our place beside the upperclass men in the extra curricular activities, and a few of us proudly participated in the one-act plays. Our athletes were improving, we added to our collection of trophies the title of Runners-up in the County. Juniors at last! For months all you could see was the flash of new class rings. The air was filled with the mumbling of worried actors and actresses rehearsing for the class play, Finders, Creepers. At the finish of the year, we splurged and spent all of our hard-earned money on the Junior -Senior Banquet. Our team won the regional tourney, but---unfortunately, that's all the further we went. Our Senior year found us occupying the honorable seats by the windows. Our now experienced actors and actresses were again rehearsing for the class play, Rest Assured, which proved to be a smash hit. Our seven athletes took the team as far as the middle of the district tournament, adding quite a few more trophies to our collection. May finds us in caps and gowns, receiving our diplomas and float ing in a whirl of parties, the Junior-Senior Banquet, and preparation for the class trip. Our High School days are over, never again to return. We bid farewell to our classmates, teachers and school and embark into the waiting future.
