The freshmen elected Linda George as their president, Ronnie Iustice, vice-president, and Denny Anderson, secre- tary-treasurer. Iohn Gaberino and Beverly Brown were chosen as student council representatives. The class chose Max McClearin and Eck Hunter for their class sponsors. The freshmen were very active during the year taking part in FHA, FFA, band, glee club, and pep club. A number of Frosh boys were outstanding in athletics. Linda George, Carnival Queen: Ieanne Turner, band queen attendant and Icmet Clark, Miss FHA, were freshmen favorites. These students are looking forward to next year when they will join the ranks as sophomores of HHS. We have worked hard throughout this school year of 1955-56, and know that this yearbook will help you cherish the mem- ories of your high school career. Looking through this book we hope you will remember the football and basketball games, the loud yells from our cheer- leaders leading our teams on to victory, the b marching down the field playing our school song, of the school activities, and last but not least, teachers who have helped us this year. We leave you with a hearty goodbye and kn that the blue and gold will forever be remembe by you. We all are very tired as you can seep The reason is we've been as busy as a bee. At times the going Was very tough, And we doubted if We would finish soon enough. But when that deadline rolled around, NNUAL See if you can guess just what we found. The book was finished from cover to cover, And we sure would hate to put out another: But all in all it sure was funp Working from dawn to setting sun. You have seen it all, the copy and type, And we beg of you, PLEASE DONT GRlPE. frm' In -4 ny, ff ,,.1 -- - 1 ,-,fm . ,. .1 . , ,, ,TA H ff' .14
