T. Smith, vice- president, and Sara Smith, secretary and treasurer. As September l, l9S4 rolled around 56 nervous, but happy students reported to their respective classrooms. Sponsors for the senior class were Mrs. lim Hamilton and Miss Christine Provence. In their spare time these busy students served banquets, sponsored bake sales, rummage sales and other projects to help finance their Senior trip. Some of the outstanding Senior gridiron players are Fred Snyder and Wayne Martin who were chosen as all-conference. Pat Cotton was selected for all conference basketball. Several senior boys participated on the track team this year. To keep up with the other classes 19 powerful voiced students were active in the A'Cappella choir, By working hard, as a unit 15 seniors were on the annual staff, with Peggy Phillips as editor, and Doris Burkett, associate editor. The seniors were second in the honors of State Honor Society with 8 students on it. Student Council members consisted of 5 senior girls. In helping carry the responsibility of helping Teen Town, the senior class had 3 members on the Teen Town committee, sharing in the decisions for the enjoyment of the students. Royalty took its place on different occasions when Lyn Maddox was chosen football queenp her attendants were Ianice Sanders and Paula Kennerly. Their escorts were Wayne Martin, Pat Cotton and Fred Snyder. Paula Sue Kennerly was chosen as basketball queen and was crowned by Wayne Martin.
