The eighth grade worked hard for their candidate, Sheam Siler, but were beaten. Paula Nelson was crowned by Johnny George, a seventh grade student and Sheam Siler was es- corted by Frank Allen. They were Ann Moore, Rena Jo Sandlin, and Kay Fisk. The student bodv voted on the three candidates, Every one sat around with their hopes and wishes when they an- nounced Ann Moore for queen, Her es- cort was Jackie Vandigriff.
