Q Q: SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Lookung back over past years and events al ways calls many memorues to mund and brungs tears to the eyes at the thought of all the good tumes and happuness that have been experuenced The graduatuon class of 48 has had the most en uoyment from these hugh school years that could possubly be felt lt us saud that one never has as much fun as he does un hugh school At tumes ut us a but hard to belueve that but when you reach the end of your hugh school days and realuze that thus tume next year you may be hundreds of mules away and wull never agaun get to do all these won derful thungs then you realuze just how much you w ll m ss ut all You know that from now on all the actuvutues and trups wull go on wuthout you that someone else wull take your place and you won t even be remembered or mussed un the great whuul of actuvutues lt usnt untul then that thungs luke the Junuor Senuor prom and that last walk down the ausle of the audutoruum really mean some thung to you As tume marches back to the fall of 45 when we began our pulgrumage through the halls of hugh school we fund ll4 sophomores comung unto senuor hugh Really the bug shots now so they thought The war was stull goung on and to help wuth the war effort the school had a contest to see whuch class could sell the most vuctory bonds The sophomores really worked hard beatung all the senuor hugh classes and crownuna theur queen Bar bara Green Vuctory Queen Thus year for the furst tume the glee club went to Stullwater for the Noble Caun festuval The festuval lasted three days and a great many sophomores enuoyed those three days ummensely A luttle later un the year Luz Ruxleben the candudate for carnuval queen was boosted un the race but un spute of a lot of hard work two queens seemed a luttle too much for one class and the sophomores lost to the freshman Geometry was the buggest headache that came to any sophomore but then that happens to everyone Also along the scholastuc lunes was the wunnung of the trophy at the East Central meet The sophomores contrubuted quute a few pounts toward the wunnung of thus trophy Late thus year most of the sophomores began to break up wuth theur grade school sweethearts and fund greener pastures elsewhere Lastung ro mances were started that year 'A' 1' 7?
