The Eagles journeyed down to Clinton and found a brand new field on which to play. Clinton tried hard that night but the Eagles gave them a defeat with the score of 13 to 0. The Eagles were then hosts to Odessa on the C. of C. field. The Eagles had all the pep needed to show Holdenites an- other victory, the score being 20 to 0. Eldorado Springs was next on the Eagles' list so they took off to the south with a gleam in their eye for this was a Conference game. But when the Eagles returned home weary and worn they de- termined it shoulcln't happen again, for the score had been in ElDorado's favor 33 to 7. They next played Adrian at home losing to them also, After those defeats they played Lee's Summit, hereg Rich Hill. thereg Butler, hereg 'xVarrensburg, there, and Appleton City, there. Ail of these games ended in victories for the opponents. Much of their trouble this season was hard ground and many injuries. Seniors on the team were: Allen Dean, Harold Chaney, Jerry Kephart, 'Donald Kephart, Jack Mclvhirt, Ronald Phelps, Jack Penrose, Marvin Bedsaul, Dale Cork- ran and Robert Morrow.
