The staff gained experience this year by working with the facilities and computers at the local Garden City Telegram and sell- ing advertising to produce two spe- cial editions. The staff also traveled to Hays to attend the Regional Kan- sas Scholastic Press ssociation's contest where Shellie Becker placed 2nd in advertising layout which qualified her for state competition.
