Chapter I is a federally funded program designed to provide students with extra educational help in the areas of reading and math. This program provides seventh through twelfth grade stu- dents with supplementary help in reading and students in grades nine through twelve with supplementary help in math. Peirce SPECIAL EDUCATION The primary goal of the special needs department is to assist students in achieving to the maximum of their potential. Students are offered services ranging from self-contained classes to academic tutoring. The students serviced are determined through the evaluation process established by Chapter 766 and PL 94-142.
