KINDELAN GRACE O. KINDELAN 2 3 4 DEDICATION For the last three years Mrs. Helen Fitzgerald has been senior class advisor. She has done more than her share of guiding us through our high school years, helping us work towards a successful prom and re- ception, and preparing us for the future that lies ahead after graduation. Mr. James Fitzgerald has been an enthusiastic teacher and Student Council advisor, who has managed to raise the spirit of the students at H.j.S.H.S. It is with deep appreciation and thanks that we the students of H.j.S.H.S. dedicate the 1986 Echo to Mr. and Mrs. James Fitzgerald. They have made these past few years more than memorable for everyone. Mrs. Helen Fitzgerald Mr. James Fitzgerald IN MEMORIUM ERIC FRYE “Praying” There comes a time In every life When a person has to leave. To say good-bye Until tomorrow Puts a person in much sorrow. HELEEN ADMINISTRATION The Echo Staffs would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Mr. Mahanor, Mr. Heleen and Mr. Smyth. ROW 2: Wendy Higgins, Secretary; Mr. James Fitzgerald, Advisor; Vikki Smith, Treasurer. Enthusiasm, determination, dedication — these are the keys to success for the Class of 1988. The sophomore class has ranked first in the “Spirit Events held so far this year. The executive board managed to bring success to our two fundraisers. The biggest financial success and most enjoyable event was the car wash. The “Treasure Chest was close behind in its prosperous contribution to the class ' treasury. The Class of 1988 has set goals each year and we are very proud to say we have achieved all of them. The goals we have set for our junior year will bring a challenge, but we are confident. This year ' s staff, along with their advisors Mr. and Mrs. Kindelan, though smaller than those in years past, worked long and diligently, even meeting over vacations to put out a book equal in quality to other years. We would like to thank all those dedicated staff members for the efforts that they put into this book. We would also like to thank the students who helped out even though not staff members and the faculty for their patience and understanding. HIGH BAND Over the years, the Holbrook High School Band has not only participated at football games, but also at many concerts, pep rallies, and parades. In 1985 the Holbrook High School Band was honored for marching sixteen years in the Quincy Christmas parade. Due to the small size of the band and the lack of many instruments, there are many things the band can no longer participate in, but what the band lacks in size, it makes up for in its talent for music and its strong school spirit.
