This guided us in our decision but our choice was because of much deeper feelings. For four years we have grown together; we ' ve shared the laughter and the tears, the happiness and the sadness. The friendship we have built will last far beyond our high school years. These two people are more than advi- sors, they are true friends who eased our hardships and made the fun times more memorable. The Class of 1985 wishes to thank these people for simply being who they are. They will always hold a special place in our hearts. It is with great admiration that the 1 985 year- book be dedicated to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kindelan. 7 MR. JOHN M. As Senior week quikcly approaches our enthusiasm grows. We are looking forward to our class trip to Connecticut and our Senior Awards assembly. The highlight of the week will be the Senior Reception; a formal dinner in Boston followed by a romantic cruise around Boston Harbor. These events and many others that we have had would not have been possible if it weren ' t for Mr. Kindelan, our Advisor, the Senior officers and the Executive Board. FRANKLIN ST. HOLBROOK, MA Main Office Hancock Street Quincy, MA OUR HALL OF ' TAMER MR. WILLIAM LEANUES The Class of 1 985 would like to pay special tribute to Mr. William Leanues. It was a new experience when we entered high school in 1981. We made new friends and we were introduced to many teachers with whom we would spend time over the years. One of these teachers was Bill Leanues. We knew him as the loud mouth baseball coach. At the end of our freshman year, we respected him because of the pride he instilled in H.H.S. After 18 coaching seasons and 11 So. Shore League Cham- pionships, Mr. Leanues in 1 982 coached our team to the Division 3 State Champions. He was named All-Scholastic Coach of the Year by the Boston Globe. Mr. Leanues retired from coaching that year after compiling an overall coaching record of 250 wins and 93 losses. He felt the love of America ' s favorite pasttime was fading. As we plan to leave H.H.S. most of us have had the honor of having Mr. Leanues as an English teacher. Through these four years he has become more to us than the loud mouth coach. He is a man of wisdom and integrity; a man of reason and understanding; and most importantly, a friend. 143 A PLEASURE TO HAVE SERVED YOU . . .
