ROBERT B. FLYNN 1962-1980 IN MEMORIUM For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born A time to live and a time to die. Eclesiastes 3; 1-8 We should all stop for just one moment to reflect on these words and to think about just how precious the time we have really is. Robbie was with us for only a short time, but those of us who knew and loved him miss him dearly; re- member him as the shy, friendly person he was, and are grateful for the time we shared with him. As the years pass we can be comforted by knowing his memory will live on in our hearts and minds forever . . . 17

DEDICATION For the last two years a special man has dedicated a great deal of his time to helping our class. He struggled along with us so we could have our Junior Prom; he was understand- ing when we weren ' t sure if we would have a yearbook, but most of all he was our friend when no one else was avail- able to be our class advisor. As new and inexperienced to his job as he was, he cared enough to come to our rescue. So because of his unselfish efforts, our junior and senior years have been great successes and two years that we will always remember. Therefore, with sincere appreciation we are dedicating the 1981 ECHO to our class advisor and friend, Mr. James Carelli. 16

The Echo Staff of 1981 would like at this time to bring to mind a very special lady who has, in one way or another, been involved with every student in Holbrook High School. She works in the Guidance office and each year without fail dedicates herself to the graduating seniors, help- ing them make the right decisions about colleges, and also helping in the writing of applications and transcripts. This lady is Mrs. Helen Carty, who after eight years of service to our school is retiring. Her seat in the Guidance office will be a difficult one to fill in the coming year. The Echo Staff of 1981 would like to thank Mrs. Carty for all her hard work and also like to wish her continued success and happiness in the futu re. 18
