DEDICATION During our years at Holbrook High School, we have been fortunate in studying with and learn- ing from many excellent teachers, and we wish to express our sincerest gratitude. It is, however, also an appropriate time to single out that one particular teacher who has given so entirely of himself to us and all his students. This teacher, in the classroom, as on the athletic field, has instilled in us, by example and encour- agment, the sportsman-like attitudes which we will carry with us throughout life. The Class of 1974, like all past classes, has had its difficulties, but with the guidance and concern of this teacher we have been able to overcome these obstacles. Each of us has been touched by the sincerity and dedication of this man in his own special way. We will always remember his witty remarks, his humor, his good will, his jitterbug and his kind- ness. For these reasons and so many others, we, the students of Holbrook High school, the Echo Staff and, especially, the Class of 1974, with a great deal of gratitude and affection dedicate the 1974 Echo to a very special person, teacher and friend, Mr. William Leanues. 4
