There are few people who give of themselves openly, freely, and totally to any cause. A person such as this instills in others the enthusiasm that creates a sense of unity. The Class of ’71 has been singularly fortunate in knowing a person such as this. This person has not stood in front of us and led, but rather, has stood beside and worked with us. The energy, patience, and hard work of this person has helped make it possible for our class to successfully fulfill its objec- tives. It is because of this that we, the Class of ’71, and the Echo staff, feel greatly indebted. Despite our grief, dismay, and disappointment when we failed, our class looks back with pride at the successes, such as our Christmas Cotillion and Junior Prom. It is for these rea- sons that the students of Holbrook High School, the Echo staff, and, especially, the Class of ’71 dedicate, with pride, the 1971 Echo to Miss Marianne Senese. Dedication 5
