ACTIVITIES No school would be complete without activities, and here at HHS we have a fine cross-section that covers most of the interest to be found among high school students. Some of the clubs were established to give a student a chance to enjoy himself doing what he likes. Others are for the improvement of the inquir- ing mind. Most clubs are open to those who wish to join; but some are open only to those who can earn their membership such as the National Honor Society, or those who are elected as The Student Council. The clubs are under the leadership of teachers who devote their own time helping students to help themselves. In these activities a student has the opportunity to widen his interests, extend his horizons, and above all to learn. No matter what a student has an interest in, if he has the willingness and the ability he can surely find a place for himself in at least one of the many organizations that are open to the students here at HHS.
