FRESHMAN YEAR We were 50 strong when we started our educational march through Sumner High ' s cor- ridors in September of 1950, 23 in the College Division and 27 in the Commercial. Class Officers— President, Dennis Ba rry; Vice President, Lonnie Peters; Secretary, Marilyn White; Treasurer, Ann Holbrook; Asst. Treasur- er, Marilyn Ryder; Student Council, Carole Wilkins, David Peat. Motto: “Strive to succeed.” Colors: Maroon and Gold. Activities: St. Penck’s Dance, March 16; Hot dog sale. Extra Curricula: Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball, Chess Club, Glee Club, Camera Club, Snoops Scoops staff, Baseball, Gym, Band. Foul Shooting: First place— Boys— Dennis Barry. Girls— Carolvn Wright. SOPHOMORE YEAR Class Officers— President, Lonnie Peters; Vice President, Peter Boghossian; Secretary, Jane Schutt; Treasurer, Marilyn White; Asst. Treas- urer, Marjorie Duggan; Student Council; Rob- ert Mielde, Kleanthe Polisson, David Peat. Activities: Record Hop.
