They have helped the school in many Ways. One of their major contributions has been sponsoring our school dances. The Parent-Teachers Association was founded in 1897 by Mrs. Theodore Birney as the Na- tional Congress of Mothers and developed into the National Congress of Mothers and Parent- Teacher Association in 1908 and changed to the National Congress of Parents and Teachers in 1924 of 4,500,000 members.
