We took the seniors to Paris with our the rn e , April in Parisf' The decorating committee worked hard to turn the gym into une rue de Paris , c omplete with sidewalk cafes, F 1- enc h chefs, and even the Eiffel T owe r . Then came gradua- tion with June winning a history a- ward . We were sad to see these seniors leave . These were our friends, members of our sister class, who had helped us through the hard- est parts of our high school days, Seniors - at last! Remember how, when we were freshmen, we used to look up to the seniors,

SENIORS Journalism Club, and the Ekoh Staff. When we had our magazine sales to raise money for the Junior-Senior, Mrs . C ole ' s home room sold the most and was treated to a party by Miss Pegg's class. Another unfor- gettable event was the Junior class play, Taming the Brat , from which the pr ofit went to pay for the new piano . We had never realized be- fore what talented a c t or s and act- resses were a part of our class. It was fun, wasn't it ? SENIORS the big wheels in school. Now we were the whee1s ,but, somehow, we didn't feel big and important, a s we had thought we would. We were still small and young with a world before us to conquer. Lacy Koonce , as pre sident , was chosen to lead us through our final and most import- ant year. Kenneth was elected pres- ident of the Student Council and Key Club, Lillian, president of the Beta Club and Cheerleader, Janet, pres- ident of the F. H. A.: June, editor of the Ekoh . We chose our mascots, Dianne Upchurch and Brian Whit- taker, and senior superlative s .
