He previous sea duty includes First Lieutenant and Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer, USS JOHN A. BOLE CDD-7555, Weapons Officer, USS HANSON CDD-8323, Precommissioning De- tachment and Weapons Officer, USS SOUTH CAROLINA CCGN-3710, and Executive Officer, USS CLAUDE V. RICKETTS CDDG-53. He served ashore in the Enlisted Plans Section, Bureau of Naval Personnel and as Director, Decision Sup- port Systems Division, Navy Military Personnel Command. V Commander BUCKLEY is a graduate of the Armed Forces Staff College, and while serving at the Bureau of Naval Personnel, earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from George Washington University. Commander BUCKLEY has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with a gold star, the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V, and the Battle Efficiency Ribbon. His wife Linda is a Registered Nurse and a qualified Emergency Medical Technician who has worked at hospitals in several cities. The BUCK- LEY'S have two sons and two daughters.
