Assistant Head Mistress Mary Kesler This is Miss Mary Kesler's 15th year at Hocka- day, and her 4th year as Assistant Head- mistress. An administrator by responsibility and interest, she is enthusiastically fulfilling her duties in three areas of concern: Residence, Counseling, and Admissions. First, Miss Kesler is responsible for the overall management of the Residence department, aiding Mrs. Rose in her duties. For admissions, not only does she meet prospective students and their families, but she also follows up on new students to be sure of their happiness in their new environment. Finally, she works directly with the students by counseling them and arranging advisor groups, Miss Kesler believes that the students at llockaday are very alive, motivated, and in- terested in what they are doing, and that each student contributes to the special atmosphere in the school. In the future, she hopes to get to know every facet of each girl, getting ac- quainted with all of her talents, as well as her academic side. Miss Kesler's concern and dedication have been appreciated by all of Hockaday.
