The immense value which she places on fairness and right conduct is super- ceded only by her great concern for others. When one was needed to make order out of chaos, she effectively em- phasized a greater unity among members of the class. She spent countless hours working with school and class leaders, ever striving to discover a better and more efficient procedure. In a world where the word friend is often misused and treated lightly, she has remained an example of the true meaning of the word. She is youthful, but respected, realistic, but imaginative, knowledge- able, but seeking knowledge. just as the Founders Day award honors those whom we seek to emulate, so does this dedication. We, the Senior Class, proudly dedicate the 1968 Cornerstones to Mrs. William E, O'Neal.
