Although having been here only two years, Karlene has made a prominent place for herself among her- classmates. Her determination and her vivacity have gained her much respect and admiration. She has done much for the school spirit through her varied cheer- leading activities. Karlene’s outgoing: and friendly personality make everyone feel at ease around her. Because of her numerous beaux, Karlene is envied by many. We surely feel that next year Briarcliff is gaining a girl of outstanding drive and personality. However, she is endowed with many other outstanding features. Becky gives the appearance of an extremely fun-loving girl, which she is. But also, she is an honor student, devoted to her many activities in the Dux and Entre Nous. She has been a big asset to the Green Team as an enthusiastic and determined cheerleader. Becky’s many friends recognize her as a sincere and devoted girl. This is a girl that will find success in whatever field she chooses. Hockaday, the Latin department particularly, is losing one of its most essential girls.
