Her silence is some- times mistaken for shyness, but Jan is anything but timid. She is actually an extrovert, ready to do things no one else could ever dream of doing. She is one of the few people willing to forget her own wishes in deference to those of a friend. Jan is extremely easy to get along with. This quality draws everyone to her immediately, so that all people consider her their good friend. Jan carries a great store of hap- piness and deep understanding with her. She will be loved wherever she may go.

Bs ee ee: eee eee eee | reasurer MISS KIMBALL ee ee ee ee PONSOL The Fourth Form’s last year at the Old Hockaday was filled with the most responsible duties of all the forms, such as being responsible for giving chapel, taking attendance, keeping study hall, and publishing the Hockaday Directory. But it was a gay year as well, with the fun-filled senior trip, destination unknown until arrival, and the laugh-inspiring Senior Day on May 12, with its hilarious take-offs on the school’s teachers and seniors arriving in truly unique attire. Beginning second semester were the numerous senior parties, which added many memories which the members of the Fourth Form will treasure, no matter how far away they may be in the future. The Fourth Form’s year has been truly one of unity, cooperation, and responsibility.
