If anyone were to ask who is the bounciest girl in the class of '58, there could only be one answer . Barbaral Barbara has spent six years at Hockaday earning the reputation of a wonderful, exuberant person who is fun to be with and an excellent athlete, too. She is one of the few people about whom it is easy to say sincerely that she can take disappointments with a smile, that she always has a friendly word ready, and especially that she has a fresh, unaffected personality which attracts others upon first contact, Barbara has a long record of accomplishments to her credit Cwitness her letter jacketj among which one of the most outstanding is her contribution to the Spanish Honor Society, Tu Tertuliag she is reluctant to admit it, but she has excelled in four years of Spanish. What is it about girls from Abilene who come to Hockaday that makes them stand out? Perhaps it's a freshness, or a grand sense of humor, or a winning smile that adds that something special. Wfhatever it is, Suzanne has it. Pretty and petite are two adjectives often applied to girls, which are completely appro- priate to Suzanne. Although she loves to talk, she can be a willing listener, and she's a friend when it comes to bridge. You can find her anywhere there's a gathering of girls who like to talk and have a good time. Her two years at Hockaday have endeared her to each of us, but it will probably be the boarding de- partment which will miss her the most next fall, .for Suzanne is one of those people of whom it can be said that she's always wonderful to have around.
