Principal’s Message If during your stay at this school, you have found that you can happily and successfully live with your fellow man, our efforts have not been in vain. My association with each of you has been pleasant. I have watched you grow, and open your eyes to the knowledge of life about you. Members of the faculty have shown their ap- preciation. For this reason, and for your devotion to this school, of which we are a vital part, I wish you success in the years which lie ahead.

SUPERINTENDENT Mrs. Mable R. Moody TO THE SENIORS OF 1966: Congratulations for having reached this commencement or beginning again in your life. To live in the Space Age will be the most challenging of all other ages in history. Its essence is change. The one thing you can be sure of now as in times past is change, but with greater rapidity. You will need much courage, stamina, patience, and adaptability to cope with this wonderful time in which you live. I trust that the two most valuable lessons you have learned ere this are: to be able to adjust and accept change. One writer has predicted that you will find it necessary to change your career two or three times during your lifetime, because our con- stantly changing society will make present prominent positions obsolete from time to time. It follows then that the next impor- tant lesson is to know how to solve problems and to learn to stand on your own two feet. To live courageously, you must acquire a value system of your VERY OWN to guide in the years ahead. It should include the spiritual, the beautiful, and the cultural for you to live fully. Life will meter back to the degree of effort put into it. As you labor from day to day, think not what you can get out of something, but rather what you can put into it. May your metering stick be full measure, then you will not have lived in vain. Very sincerely, Mable R. Moody BRANTLEY COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION L. to R--Ted Strickland, E. C. Fowler, Edward Brand, Virgil Allen, Mrs. Mable, R. Moody, Nolan Davis, Jr.
