Ray Shuman and Faye King felt left out of the occasion and to cause more excitement, pushed Sandra Lee out of the Red Streak for making so many bright remarks. Much to Faye's surprise, Sandra landed on the moon, which made her remarks even brighter. Upon arrival of our destination, the moon, Diane Colvin, President of The Aircrafts, made a detail report back to Earth. The trip was a great success except for the two goof-offs, Junafae Hickox and Connie Aldridge, because they always arc behind on everything. CAROLL WALKER District Director of Eighth District F.T.A. I, Dennis Woods, will my ability to eat a square meal to Curtis Strickland, in hopes he won’t be as hoggish as [. I, Shirley Jones, will my ability to be attentive and awake in Physics to Ruby Johns. She needs it! I, Winton Stevens, will my ability to love ’em and leave 'em to the casanovas of the Junior Class. Last, but by no means least, we SENIORS with great respect will to you JUNIORS our most considered and appreciated friend (Auther), in hopes he will bring you as much pleasure to your class as he has ours. CLASS PROPHECY of 1963 At the International Space Supper, Richard Hickox, a specialist on space matters, gave his speech pertaining to Race for Space. There was much discussion on the subject of taking a trip to the moon. Ronnie Griffin, being a master at building rockets, and Winton Stevens and Robert Melton, falling close behind in aircrafts, combined their mechanical know-how to construct a huge, moon-rocket, by the name of Red Streak. Upon completion, Donald Hale and Jimmy Hrooks, two experts on painting, painted the rocket red-and-white, remaining loyal to Hoboken High. At last the ship was completed. Mr. Eugene Wiley and Mr. Jack Moore, being janitors for the trip, arrived first to be sure that everything was neat and in order. Joan Dennett, stewardess of the moon-rocket, arrived to keep down the confusion of the seating arrangement, but when Elaine Jacobs arrived with her two sets of twins, Joan decided to leave the seating arrangement up to each individual. Wayne Griffin didn’t feel at ease enough to take the trip until he had expressed his grati- tude to Rosslyn Herrin, his defense attorney, for proving him innocent of first degree murder. He also commended Caroll Walker, Deloris Hutchison, and Wanda Carter for being accurate Secre- taries of the Court. Dewayne Thomas and Phillip Dowling were helpers to the chefs, and Jerry Fowler had killed a six-point deer to aid in the planning of the menu. The Big Three, consisting of Dennis Woods, Truman McClain, and Ronnie Hurst, decided to take their lunches with them, as they had presampled the chefs’ cooking. Tony Griffin and Peggy Griffin arrived immediately before blast-off, due to Tony’s hot-rod driving. Blast-off occured on Julember 52, 2025. On Julember 55, 2025, Sammy Jones and Shirley Jones decided to make history by having a moon-rocket wedding. Sara Dryden was maid of honor while Wiley Carter acted as best man. After the ceremony was over, they informed the bride and groom that they were in the wedding only to get their names in history, too. Pete Milton, pilot of the Red Streak, fell asleep when he grew tired working the con- trols. Jimmy Monk, assistant pilot, didn’t realize the pilot was asleep, as he is a very good fake. After monkeying with the controls, he decided to leave them alone, because he hadn’t reviewed as he had planned. The pilot’s little three year-old daughter, Dorothy Milton, started crying tor her daddy and went to him. Upon realizing he was asleep, she finally did what she had wanted to do all during the trip — play with the controls.
