JUNIOR PROPHECY The four Junior girls of '53 were attending a sewing circle in what is left of the home- making building of the old Alma Mater, Their conversation soon turned to the Senior Class 1953. Hear of the things they discussed. Mary Beth has graduated from North Texas and for six years has been Marketer for Nieman-Marcus of Dallas, She hasn't married, but is still having a good time with all the Johns, Lynn fPudj Neves has finished school at McMurry and is now coaching at Hobbs in place of W, C, Hodges. who FINALLY retired. He still hasn't decided whether it's to be Midway or Rosco, Nona Lee has a full time job living on a farm near Hermleigh, taking care of her five kids and teaching Homemaking at Hobbs, Bill, still a bachelor, has made a small fortune selling his True Love Novels. He does dental work during his spare time. Zelma, better known as The Torch Girl of the Silver Spur, decided on a singing career instead of marriage, Kenneth has finally got that Ranch of his dreams, He has a herd of five hundred cattle and six head of little chubnies, ' Ida Lee, while waiting for that other ring, is now mail carrier on Rough Creek route. Jackie Wayne, after graduating from A 81 M, has decided on an army career, He is stationed in FT. WORTH now, Jo Ruth is being transferred from Stamford to Hamlin and still typing for Bell Telephone C0. Harry has hopped up his Chevrolet and is racing Mr, Taylor back and forth from Rotan, Pauline, after finishing school at Abilene, is just a little housewife taking care of her kids. George drives a Greyhound bus and has a girl at every bus station between here and Ft, Worth, Joe A, is now editor of the Rotan Advance and runs a joke column on flies, Clarence, after making a professional basketball player, has retired and is a Professor at West Point, Lloyd is running a Grade A dairy and production has increased, but it was so dry this year that his cows started giving powdered milk. Ernest is a traffic cop on the streets of Rotan, but still makes his daily trips out to Camp Springs, Norman is flying jet planes from Honolulu to bases in the South Pacific and has found a girl better than any at Hermleigh, Mrs. Noles has bought herself .a photo shop and is uying to put J, L, Devers out of business making School Pictures, She does not go back on her work about the price, After the 1952-53 school year, kolor back would not do Mr, Taylor any good so he quit teaching school in Mr. Dalton's place who had to retire. He decided it would not be as much worry, Mrs, Jones has retired from her position as English teacher at Hobbs and took the position of Assistant Research Instructor at State University,
