Bill E.: They heard that some men were going to lay a sidewalk and they wanted to see how it was done. Curley: Why didn't you answer my letter? Didn't you get it? Ruby: No, I didn't, and besides I didn't like some of the things you said. Donald W. : Too bad about the disappearance of Professor Smith. He was such a profound thinker. Willie: Yes, I understand he was always thinking regardless of where he was. Why, just a few days ago when I last saw him, he was swimming and suddenly called out, I'm thinking! l'm thinking. Anna Beth: What is the meaning of the word marriage? Mr. Sims: Marriage isn't a word, it's a sentence. Chester Roy: Why do they say A-men instead of A-woman in church? Elbert: Because they sing hymns, not hers. Durwood: This steak is awful, How was it cooked? Tulia Waiter: Why it was smothered in onions, sir. Durwood: Well, it sure died hard.
